About MUWA

The Murdoch University Wildlife Association (“MUWA”), which was established in 1995, comprises a group of enthusiastic students interested in expanding their knowledge and experience in the wildlife field.

MUWA’s membership is largely composed of veterinary students, veterinarians, and Murdoch University veterinary school staff.  Other members interested in wildlife from outside of the veterinary program are also invited to join.

We run a number of talks, events and excursions throught the year in order to give our members the opportunity to gain knowledge and expertise in the handling, veterinary care and rehabilitation of native Australian wildlife, as well as exotic non-domestic species.

Yearly membership costs only $15 and gives you free entry to all WWS and wildlife post mortems, discounted entry to evening events, first priority and discounts for MUWA’s excursions, workshops and other “limited number” events.
