The raptor weekend at Eagles Heritage Raptor Centre in Margaret River, is so popular we usually run a number of trips a year.
The weekend is run by renowned raptor expert Phil Payne, one of the most passionate raptor experts you will ever meet! Whilst there you will learn how to capture, pick up and hold WILD wedge-tailed eagles! You will also learn lots of interesting information on the large variety of raptors and owls held at the park and find out all about raptor first aid, critical care and medication as well as being able to perform a raptor post mortem.
On the second day Phil will take you on a bushwalk in order to spot wedge-tail eagles and their nests (and hopefully a few chicks!) and gain skills in identification of raptor species and other native wildlife in the Margaret River region.
